This site was intended to help you find an alternative to (1) expensive mainstream software, or (2) software piracy (theft, copyright infringement, hacking, etc.).
If you find this post in your feed, you'll notice the additions of new software have been absent for quite a while. I've been busy with other things and pretty much lost interest in the site.

Alternative To is a "high-end" version of what this site was attempting to be. You'll find much more software options in a easier to navigate function.
It keeps software titles organized by operating system, and you search by type or find alternatives to a specific software title.
